The Administrator Interface
The service needs at least on administrator, but don't worry, typical administration tasks take seconds, not even minutes. The most relevant are explained below with screenshots.
Administrators log in the same way as regular users, but besides the default "upload file" page, they have three additional options: "New User", "Users" and "Uploads".
Create users - SEnd START LINK
Anyone can be the recipient of the uploaded files, but you need to decide which users will be allowed to upload and send files through the service. To add users, an administrator would click on the "New User" and enter their email. That's all!. The user will receive an email with a link to start uploading (it will also ask for a password to use in future logins).
Occassionally you may need to perform some change on users. Through the "Users" link, administrators can:
- delete users
- change their passwords
- grant/revoke administrator rights
The third administration option won't be used very often. Some functions that can be performed through it are:
- recover a lost download link
- change the download expiration date
- delete a file on the server before it's automatically deleted upon expiration
